How much do you like yourself?

A friend told me she read a suggestion that instead of focusing so much on self-love, that we focus instead on self-like.

Does that sound more doable to you?

Another article I read talked about aiming to be a three percent better friend to yourself.

Three percent seems a little random, but I like that it feels manageable.

In the morning you can ask yourself, “How can I be a three percent better friend to myself today?”

At the end of the day you can ask yourself, “How did I do with being a friend to myself today?”

Liking ourselves and being on our own side makes us more emotionally resilient, which helps us cope with life’s inevitable ups and downs.
