8 Quick Immune Boosters!

There is so much research now that demonstrates the great extent to which we can influence our health with simple mind-body techniques.
If you’re feeling temporarily under the weather or dealing with a longer-term condition, here are some quick tips for boosting your immunity:
1) As much as possible, stay out of survival emotions such as fear, worry, self-criticism, stress, anger, etc. They are all immune suppressors.
2) As much as possible, generate uplifting emotions such as love, joy, gratitude, connection, inspiration, etc. They are all immune boosters.
3) Heart energy is healing. Put your hands on your heart and take slow deep breaths, imagining heart energy flooding through your body.
4) Physical comfort is healing. Hug others, hug yourself, pet your dog or cat, curl up in a cozy blanket.
5) Lift your spirits! Listen to uplifting music, watch inspiring movies/tv shows/videos, read inspiring books.
6) Connect with people you love who love you. Keep the conversation positive.
7) Laugh! Even fake laughter gets our healing neurotransmitters flowing.
8) Remember times in the past when you felt healthy and happy, and imagine times in the future when you will feel healthy and happy. The more detailed you make your visualizations (what you see, hear, feel, smell, taste, etc.), the more you’ll generate positive emotions, which will cause more healing neurotransmitters to be released into your bloodstream.
Most important - be kind to yourself! Treat yourself with love and compassion, the way you would a dear friend.
